Greetings Sombrance folks. I just wanted to let you know about some new music that I’ve released in the past month. It is nothing like Sombrance, but hopefully some of you will find it to be fun.
The first release is an album called “The Mark of the John” by my side project called Crag of the Wild Goats (Release Date: April 23, 2024). It’s an album written about a character by the name of John the Bradbarian. You can check it out here.
The next new items are a couple of singles released as solo tunes. They are “4 Apps Girl” (Release Date May 7, 2024) and “She Won’t Pray for Me” (Release Date May 24, 2024). You can check them out at rickmester.com.
These should be available on your favorite streaming service upon their release dates.
Finally, I’ve been writing a lot lately and having fun with some new gear. There are several Sombrance songs in the works as well as some ambient stuff and a potentially new band. Stay tuned here and at rickmester.com for details as they become available.
